I loved reading this book I enjoyed the books this author writes. I love the relationship between Derek and Jacob I also love the twists and turns in this book. I have also read his book called Expecting the Unexpected and I have loved that book too. This book was wonderfully written like his other book I have read. I will recommend this book to everybody I know and to all my friends too.

Reckless Faith edition by Jack Kass Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

It was pretty obvious that the author let his T.V preferences influence this book. I don't know if this was a fan-fic or not but it read like one. Not to mention the countless typos, unfinished sentences and calling secondary characters the wrong name.

The reason I picked this up was for the MPREG aspect of it but this book revolved more around familial drama than it did the pregnancy. After a slow start to the pregnancy I blinked and Jacob was six months I blinked again and he'd given birth. I was rather let down and wanted more from this.
It was a great book that I enjoyed reading every word. Wonderful emotions and a great journey. It was told in a great manner and was just amazing.. It was heart warming.. Thank you so much for writing this book. I love books with male pregnancy concept and I loved reading this book alot ). Enjoyed the story a lot. Did not find any flaws with the way the story was written and was able to enjoy it throughly. I'm looking forward in reading more books with mpreg concept form Jack )
This book had a pretty good story. I really enjoyed it . There were a few grammar mistakes and that's why I scored it a 4 .
I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I have to with this one.
Lately on Facebook, I've been reading where several authors and readers as well, disparage mpreg books. The authors refuse to write them and readers refuse to read them.
I, however, don't mind and actually enjoy them, especially the ones written as well as this one is. The characters seem real and the story was very interesting and it wasn't a wham, bam, thank you man, story. It had a real plot, unlike some of the other mpreg books released over the last few months, which are all written the same way and usually by the same person. But Reckless Faith isn't like that and I hope to read a follow to this story.
When I read the blurb of this book I was instantly intrigued. Most Mpreg books have something paranormal connected to the story. Not this one. I've personally only read one other book with MPreg in it that didn't have shifters attached to it. I wish there were more like these because I am really interested in these types of stories.

That being said; I enjoyed the story. We have a hot priest (Jacob) and a hot mechanic (Derek) who meet one night at a bar where one is mourning the loss of his sibling while the other is getting over a break-up. Some talk and flirting ends in a one night stand of some hot sex which leaves our sexy priest, Jacob with child.

When Jacob realizes he's pregnant that little plus sign changes everything for Jacob from his job and future as a priest to the relationship he has with his faith and to the relationship he has with his crazy as Hell, family.

When Derek finds out he's going to be a father he's happy. He knows instantly that he wants the child and is willing to have Jacob move in with him so he can be of any help.

Things progress from there and they meet each other's families. Jacob's family is insane. One in particular should be locked up in a loony bin. I did love his two brothers John and Mark though. The rest are all kinds of nutty.

Derek has a decent family. Loved his mom and brother. His father is an ass but not too bad.

In all I enjoyed the story. The writing was OK. It took some getting use to. But sometimes that happens when an author is new to me. The only big issue I had with the book is the editing. It needs to be fixed. But in the end an enjoyable story with an nice HEA.
3.5 stars
So, a friend emailed me with the blurb for this book,
"Leanne," it said, "am I reading this right?!"
I read it a few times, snickered once or twice, thought WTF...surely that's a typo. Read it again, realised it wasn't.
I emailed my friend back,
"Stacey," I said, " I'm too intrigued to ignore this, I'm downloading the sample."
So I did. I read it immediately and fell in love.
Then I bought the full book and read that immediately too! and fell in love a bit more.

Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like this book. I'm pretty sure most of you are thinking it sounds like it's going to be crap, with such an odd subject matter.
Give it a go...once you get over the fact that, yes, a man is pregnant, the overall story is actually really touching. In fact, I've probably read 100 + "conventional" romances with exactly the same storyline; judgemental, overbearing family doing what they think is right, 2 strangers falling in love, forming a family...
Jacob and Derek are adorable. I know I've invested in this book because I want to get to know some of the other characters better...John is a hoot, I'd like to see his story and Liam too...the real black sheep of the family...intriguing!

My only issue is the editing...it is abysmal!!
Typos galore, 2 characters having the same name, another character being called 2 different things, sometimes it's tricky to grasp whether it's Jacob or Derek talking...
A good edit and this will be a great read.
Such a sweet story.
Jacob a hot young priest, out of grief, have a one night stand with the hot mecanic Derek. When Jacob gets pregnant from that night, he has to leave the Church and his life. He goes to Derek for help and they have to get to know each other, deal with two very special families and the fact that after a one night stand; can you fall in love?
I loved reading this book I enjoyed the books this author writes. I love the relationship between Derek and Jacob I also love the twists and turns in this book. I have also read his book called Expecting the Unexpected and I have loved that book too. This book was wonderfully written like his other book I have read. I will recommend this book to everybody I know and to all my friends too.
